Chapter 16

By the time he pulled from her body, he was already hard again. Apparently twenty years had left him mildly insatiable, and as he flopped down beside her, he propped himself up on one elbow as he chuckled at just how pathetic his penis was in her presence. She smiled her sweet precious smile that showed her nervousness but showed her intrigue just as much. Then it hit him, the very subtle scent of blood. It wasn’t much, but it dashed any chance his penis would be having his way with her again tonight. She must be sore, and he trailed his cool fingers down her stomach to cup her sex. He slipped his third and fourth fingers between the lips of her vagina, holding them along the length of her cleft and soothing her soreness with his cool touch.

She sighed and closed her eyes at the touch, and he watched her peaceful and content face. It was hard to imagine what kind of trust it took for her to so completely give herself to him, and it left his soul soaring just as much as his cock was. When her eyes opened again, she found his eyes and bit her lip. She looked nervous, shy, incredibly unsure, but she reached her arm up to support her head on her forearm and watch him. That’s when he caught sight of the bruise. It was large, and he’d not seen it before. He pulled his hand from her, and as he reached for the bruise on her arm, she watched him. He stroked the smooth skin of her arm, and she exhaled deeply.

“Come.”

He pulled her up from the bed naked with only the soft lamp beside the bed illuminating them and the large full moon outside. He grabbed two blankets from the armoire in the room, and then he took her hand and pulled her out through the French doors. He led her down the paving stone path to the wooden flight of steps that took them from the top of the bluff to the beach below. There were two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit at the base of the stairs, and the bluffs surrounded the chairs and fire pit in a large semi-circle that provided a private expanse of beach.

He laid the blankets out on the sand, and she lay down on her stomach, following him with her eyes. He left her to grab some firewood from the wood pile, a couple of pillows and a large down comforter. Her eyes found his naked body again as he arranged the fire wood, stuffed the kindling and struck a match to light it. The moment the fire sparked, he could see the light of the flames flickering deliciously across the smooth young skin of her figure. She was laid out beautifully on the blanket, and all he wanted to do was to get back to her.

He smiled as he dropped down onto the blanket with her, and when he lay beside her, he curled himself around her, pulling the blanket over them.
